Hey Kelli, great to have you here. Can you first introduce yourself?
Awesome. I'm Kelli Guidry, I am a real estate agent and broker associate at Bayou Region Home Team brokered by eXp in South Louisiana. My markets are New Orleans and a little south of New Orleans as well. And I've been in real estate for 18 years. I was a broker, folded my company into EXP and I've been doing anything from a broker to a team lead, and a mom of 3.
How did you hear about OpusClip?
So I had actually done an AI course. I briefly mentioned that I was the first AI certified agent in Louisiana. The person who created the course is the one who introduced me to Opus.
Oh that's great. I see that you are very active on social media like Facebook. When did you start to build your social presence and how important it is to your business?
So I am actually a little ashamed to even say that I I coached with Jon Cheplak who had been preaching about social media presence way before it became the thing to do. I fumbled my way through it. I don't know how many years it's been now. I would shoot a video here and there, but it was very inconsistent. But over time, his message finally got through and I got tired of watching other people do it and succeed at a high level. So I started doing it more and more, and I was the first agent in our area to bring videos out.

Creating videos is definitely hard. But a product like Opus, oh my gosh, it makes video creation so incredibly easy. Whether it was my team meetings, or meeting that I've had with consumers over zoom, which we had a lot during the pandemic, I can just throw them all into Opus, and get short videos quickly, and they looks really crisp and clean. I actually just posted one today about a team meeting that I had. This is so great. You guys have such a great product that it makes it easy for even the most technology challenged people to use.
That's great to hear. Has OpusClip helped with your social presence or business so far?
I just signed up for Opus a couple of weeks ago after taking the AI course, and if I'm being completely transparent, I am using it as much as what I should be. But if you ask me if it has made my life easier, yes it definitely made my life easier.And I do feel that I have the wow factor after posting videos in my marketplace. People are like, "Oh my gosh, this video looks great. How are you even doing that?" Another anecdote to share - I recently signed a contract with a streaming service called Reveel Entertainment, and yesterday when I was on a call with them, one of the staff was talking about how difficult it was to edit videos. I told them that "Hey go check out Opus." I think I might need a referral link from you.

Using Opus is like fishing with dynamite. I love new things coming to light. It's taking what's old and antiquated and making it so much better.

You are the first certified AI agent in Louisiana. Could you talk a bit more about it and why you think AI is important to you?
Sure. Nick Krem and his brother Mike Krem created AI Institute, and they came out with this certification program. AI is something that a lot of people are scared of. They are more focused on jobs being taken by it. But Nick saw the opportunity and came up with this course. And I think AI is the next level tool for any type of business, not just real estate.
For instance, I use ChatGPT to improve my post, upload videos from Opus to Facebook and other platforms. I use AI tools to create my avatar. I feel like now I have a whole marketing team behind me with Opus, ChatGPT, and all these amazing tools.
What is the biggest value OpusClip has brought to you?
It helps save my time, which is so valuable. And it makes my videos look fantastic and makes everything pop. Just like I mentioned, people in my area are just like, " What is she doing? How is she doing this?" It's very impressive.
Do you have any advice you can give to realtors who want to utilize social media and AI to grow their business?
Get out of your head and don't overthink. A lot of people always say that "I don't know what content to post." In reality, the content you should post is what you talk about day in and day out. It should come from a place of adding value. For me, as soon as I quit trying to be salesy, everything shifted. I started to find out what exactly the buyer's needs and seller's needs are, what agents are struggling with, and speak about how I can help them the best. And it's not what's best for me, it's what's best for them. What I found is that whenever I help enough people get what's best for them, the windfall effect is taken care of in my life. It's really about speaking from the heart, being very genuine, and stepping outside of your own head with all of it.
